Is it just me or are those pedals dirty? :mmm:

Looks great though.

Whole car is dirty.

Yep you can see a thick layer of dust over the whole car....doesn't mean its been driven anywhere. Probably been sitting there doing nothing all these years. It would probably need some work to get it running too. BUT it is a as new classic BMW as you can get. The closest I have seen is an E30 M3 with 27 delivery miles on it and that went for 85000.00 pounds.........

Why would someone not drive this car? Makes no sense to store a bmw. At least the occasional trip around London or coastal island drive...surely?

This is just wrong on so many levels. Why would you get the ultimate driving machine and keep it stored inappropriately gathering dust :nonono:

The pedals don't have a layer of dust... they look like they've been driven as the dirt seems to be worked into the grooves.

Surely the car must have been driven. Makes no sens to by an M5 and then put it straight into storage. Bu who knows I guess... people do weird things.

This is mad!!! From the way I read it, it has never been sold, dealer papers etc and will be registered as new sale - which implies its been in the hands of a dealer of some sort for all its life??? The biggest thing is the cost - 65k Pounds - bloody hell......
Multiply that by 13 and you have ur cost here........... R845k...... nuff said :bangdesk:

There is quite a lot one has to do to prepare a car for storage, I wonder if they did anything at all?

Judging by the fact that he did not even cover it, I highly doubt it ...

Well it is still new, so if it has motorplan, it is a bargain..... :fencelook:
I also highly doubt there are anyone at that dealer that knows how to properly maintain/repair/service it.

Agree it will need some attention as all have said/commented - still a bucket load of money for a car that old (albeit a gr8 "classic" that's new). Also, Motorplans were not a given over in UK and Europe - only offered as a cost option in some markets.....

Very strange indeed! And such a waste! Does not at all look like it was properly stored, such a shame. Even door seals would probably be stuffed...
