E34 lover

Hi guys, Ive been browsing here a while and thought I should introduce myself. I love E34s, i think they are really mean cars.

E34 M5. Rescued from being parted and work in progress

E34 540i 6 speed manual, just got her last week. Fairly poor condition with a lot of rust

E34 525i touring. The plan here is to turn her into a 4L V8 Alpina B10 replica...so anyone with Alpina goodies, let me know...

Welcome.. Quite a collection there of E34's. Built in an era when things were made to last, this design still looks great after all these years.

Was going to suggest you sell one or two of the others and put the money into the M5 but I quite like that 540i6 and the touring, so I can imagine how you feel :roflol:

Yeah, the 6 Speeds are rare.

There was a Daytona Violet one in Durban for 60k about 2years back
Car looked Immaculate.

BUT, the under carriage was VROT!!!!!

Installed a S3.15 diff on the 540 this weekend, wow what an amazing transformation! The car always feels like its just had a strong coffee :thumbs: Now I just need to figure out why my fan likes coming on so often...

Gave the 540 some love today, smoked indicators, proper smileys and a bit of a detail.

Also did a "test fit" of the Alpina bumper on a mates car. Excited for this one!
