E34 540i/6 Advice Needed

Hi Everybody, I know I have not really been active recently, although I drop in now and then just to see what everybody is up to.

My '96 E34 540i has been standing for a Year now, I have taken her for a drive at least once a month but have now decided with a heavy heart (sentimental reasons) to let her go. There are a few small things that have to be done that I am giving attention to now, but she is still in a very good condition.

What I would like to know is what the Peeps here think I should let her go for, as I have no Idea at the moment.

Secondly, Is anybody here interested in purchasing her ?, as I would like her to go to a fellow fanatic, if not I will be advertising her on other mediums.

Wellllll....it is rare, and not just for e34, but I won't say they are sought after....as the non-M5 e34 following in SA is very small.....which is a good thing actually, seeing as the risk of it getting stolen is a lot less, than it is on say an e30. The fact that the guys that are interested in e34's are generally cheap as ass, should also be considered.

I think in the whole of SA there would be only 4 people in that are actually interested in these cars, and it just so happens that all 4 are here and know each other.
Because as Sankekur said - they are unpopular and usually driven by cheap asses

I doubt a there would be much of a bidding war as we all know each other...it will probably just end up being an awful display of very small bid increments :rollsmile:
