This is sad...so keep a box of kleenex close by as tears may roll freely

Pop in at the local tire dealer to have a puncture repaired and the owner shows me his latest acquisition...

Now here is the sad bit - he only paid R8000 for it :bawling:

He bought it as a non runner, had to have the key coded cost R1500 and hey presto...it all works like a charm

Check out those new tyres and mags which came with the car...:)

Fsck sake why.....

That must be the bargain of the century and the sad thing is we all missed it....:bawling:

True, Ian, but I condole myself on the fact that it could have been a R30k engine rebuild, R15k gearbox swap and R15 electricals before the car were running again.

Though I don't know the history of the current owner, but is is still a GOOD buy non the less. :(

For 8k I see it like I see a disposable nappy. If it is full of sh*t, throw it away.

Start stripping that car out, and you will double your money. Actually more.

I will give him his 8 k just for the gearbox, propshaft and pedal box.

Then you still have everything else to strip and sell.

Ian I agree with bro- that is the bargain of the century.:bawling: Must have been a pleasant surprise for the new owner to discover that only the recoding of the key would be the only problem. But I'm glad for him-lucky bugger:)

That motor alone without anything will still go for 15k

Frikken awesome find, wish it was me, as pointed out, the rims and tires are worth about 6k on its own.
