Yes you will...

320i conrods and I'd get a set of hogher compression pistons. Go all the way or dont go at all. May run into issues later. Also depends on the condition of the pistons and new rings will be in order, work on the head etc...

Why put an M3 crank in the M20 block . Stroke is 86mm whereas a 330i crank has a 89.6mm stoke . You can use std bearings from the M20 on the 330i crank .
If you want more specs ask .

@Dean What is difference between using 328i crank and 330i crank ? Reliability ? Cost ? Is the 330i crank used with 320i conrods ? Does this not cause problems with the throw of the rod ? . Fuel consumption if only stroked and dynoed - as a daily ride this plays a role ? Rev limit ? I have replaced a few rockers on M20 2L and 2.5 L motors at high kilos ( 250k km etc ) , so have to use less revs than the e36 325 , just to be safe ? Thanks , have a bit of info on 328i conversion none on 330i .

328 crank makes good torque where as 2.7 likes to rev.330 crank makes much more torque but does not like to rev.there was a 325 in durban with the 330 conversion but it wasnt as strong as we thought it was going to be,m3 used to kill it.
