To my knowledge, there are a few around in SA. I've personally seen a white one.

Cool write up tho

I don't like the E36 wheels on the M3. But I'm probably in a minority cause there seems to be lots of E30's with those wheels fitted. Good read though. Thanks for the share.

wasn't the e30 M3 only on import because of it being left hand drive. I speak under correction but I don't think it was for purchase here unless you were a collector and had a big bank account

That painted grill on the iS is cringeworthy...

All 3 legends in their own right.:praise:

# OP add a poll to the thread, for guys to choose their favourite from the 3, just for kicks...:coolShake:

My mate's dad had an E30 M3 convertible when I was in primary school and I remember him taking us to a cricket match in it, top down. A black one... This was in Boksburg around '93/'94.

He regrets ever selling it...

According to the article...3 which is not entirely correct as there are others one of which is a convertible that was at the Glen on SABeemer Day.

It was not imported at all, the ones which are here were imported by the guys themselves...(i was old by one owner)...

I have never seen an E30 M3 in SA , where are you guys seeing these cars???

I know there's a red convertible that comes to SA now and then , from Botswana for a service and small repairs ( Was told by parts guy at SMG ) but I have never see it. Anyone have any pictures of these M3s in South Africa? Would love to see what they look like .
