E30 M3 - Barn Find

The fact that's is an M3 makes it all the more special, but my father in law bought a 318I E30 for his daughter (not the wife...her sister) with 8000km on it about 5 years ago. Brand new too. They just had to change the petrol tank and some clogged fuel line since it's been standing so long too. My sis in law eventually put the car on it's side on Hospital bend in CT with a total of 55000km on it. :hammerhead: After standing is his yard for a year, he gave the perfect body and engine (with a little left front fender damage and a scraped side only...) to his gardening technician (gardener...) :bawling:

maybe its just me, and i DONT mean to start a flaming war here, but looking at the pics i find it hard to beleive that it has been standing for 20 years, nevermind forgotten about.. having seen cars that stood for 10+ years.. nice car either way :)

I kinda tend to agree with you here netercol.

No sign of rubber perish, nothing.

Unless the car has been prepped for storage, body waxed, wheels lifted off the ground, body rubbers smeared with a preventative agent, there is no way that thing will look like that after 10 years. let alone 20
