I found a replacement door for my E30, but it has an electrical window in. My E30 came with manual windows and it's the gear system. Now I would have just swapped my window over to the new door, but the mechanism is sort of broken and I've not been able to find a replacement mechanism. So I figured to make things easier I'll just connect up the electric window... accept, I'm not sure how.
I had a look at the wiring diagram that covers the switch and it seems I can just give it power and connect the switch to the motor.

Although I still need to find a switch, I want to know if this will be fine or am I'm missing something? I should probably fit a fuse as well??
