Guys...I hope this question can be of help ....
With e30 dashboards cracking like crazy , my question is has anyone sealed the cracks and sprayed the dash with Plastidip ? It seems to work well on interior parts .
If a part of the dash is crack free and then given 4 or 5 coats of Cobra floor polish then a plasticine sausage is put over the waxed area and resin is poured into the enclosed area . After setting remove the resin cast . It will not stick to the dash as the wax works as a release agent .
A crack in the dash is filled with epoxy or similar and the resin cast pushed down on this area to make the pattern the same as the rest of the dash . Repeat as necessary .
When finished spray with plastidip , maybe multiple coats .
Does Plastidip come in a satin ( semi gloss ) black ?
