This is something that started to happen last winter. It would only happen if it is a really cold morning. As some of the Cape Town guys will know, it's k@k cold today and the engine is making this noise again. The noise goes away once the engine starts warming up.
I was unable to find out what it was last winter. I had the car stay over a weekend at a mechie so they can start it up first thing the Monday morning. But naturally the engine decided it's fine and the mechies found nothing.
I just want to know if anyone has ever had such an issue and what they found the problem was. I have a 1991 M40.
