If anyone is going to look at these cars can you look at the following:

Chrome strips around the side windows (mine are scratched and bent)
The plastic triangles inside of the wing mirrors
Bonnet emblem
Boot 635csi emblem (I am looking for the chrome without the black background)

I've been bringing spares in from the UK.
I now have my import/export permit so we can get things a bit cheaper.
Perhaps it's time for a Shark Meet? We can at the very least make a parts list up and see what kind of wallet damage is required. Spare parts from my contact in the UK are cheap, it's the mother fuckers at customs that rush you 40% for second hand old car parts!!!!

I have a new trunk badge and tool kit in my suitcase... will be installing them on Saterday when i get home.
I was going to import a new radiator hose until I took a wild chance and called the local stealer and found out it is only R200 here in the Unites States Of South Africa!!!

So I went out to have a look at the car,it is still loaded with parts. The owner, Morne, is a very nice guy to deal with and honest about his business. There are quite a few cars being stripped and lots of BMW bits and pieces on offer.
Anyways,I found a clutch master cylinder and bought it,including the braided hose,so I now have a genuine BMW part to fit into the 6.
