E24 Spares??

Hey guys,

Quick question: Is there anyone breaking/stripping E24's at the moment in Gauteng?

I'm asking because there are a few ads floating around on gumtree/junkmail, but when you get to the cars then there are hardly any parts left....so....

Anybody want to make my day?raise:

-a cover/blank plate that goes next to the sunroof switch
-a left hand side doorcard armrest clip/cover thingy (its an '81 with blue leather)
- left hand side window mechanism
- original gear knob

and then the things that we all want lol (read: original torch)...

whatever else you may have i could also be interested inraise:

well, lets start bottom up......

torch easy done, as far as I know, had a black torch, have you got the bracket for it? Have a black torch for you that works 100%.

Went and looked on real oem (www.realoem.com), for a armrest, and this is after I check the number:

That cover I have, so suspect a lot of parts from the e12 run, will fit your car perfectly. If you can give me OEM numbers if they overlap with e12 parts I most propoably have have them.

asked him if he'd consider an offer for the car as is, he says he doesnt want to give me a figure as he'd get more for it in spares.

Is there anyone in KZN that would go take a look?

MAybe we could then establish what exactly is available..

The owner says most of it is still there, and if you consider that there are a few fanatics with e24's, we could all benefit.

Just need someone in KZN to go look at it and take inventory of what is actually there as the guy i spoke to wasnt exactly forthcoming with what exactly is still there on the car.
