E12 rear suspension noise

Hello friends, this is my first post. 

I own a E12 518i for about 2 years now and its been a wonderful car. It onlt has about 130K on the clock. 

Recently I noticed some clunking noises coming from the back suspension when going over little bumps. Any ideas as to what I could check? You can not hear it if I have my radio on or when the windows are open while driving. Its not loud and its as if there is something kind of loose in the boot. Any ideas?

Check all your suspension bushes.
More than likely that they need replacing!
