This thread will be for the wifes newly acquired X5

So the thread starts with a post from fellow forum member in Cape Town.
Wife had a 33od but we do allot of cycling and off road biking so started looking for an SUV...Drove a few BAKKIES but after owning a bm left allot to be desired.

Left me with only option of an X

Drove a few and settled that we wanted a white x5 msport

I got in touch with Stephen and after 2 weeks of moving the wifes car getting tickets sorted and patience on both sides we flew down to Cape Town to conclude the deal.

The deal went down and within an hour we owned a x5

We topped up fuel and headed back for Joburg.
We stopped over in Colesburg and were back on Tuesday .All I can say is im really impressed. Car feels fantastic on the road and has power for days. For such a massive car it jus goes.
We managed 10.0 litres per hundred. Thanks to Stephen for all his time and for being so patient
Will keep the thread updated.

Update

Rear lamps had sign of mildew and moisture.
Removed the lights, cleaned them and resealed them.
Cleaned the trunk lid and will cover the cleaned lights in a smoked laminex to freshen them up.
Will take pics before and after and update

Awesome Dean,

I wondered what that crud was in the lights new it wasn't "life threatening", maybe as you saw me being on the West Coast moisture and sand build up from being around the corner from the beach!

She was a mighty horse and I will miss her - enjoy bud, she will look after you :=):
