We used to use toluene and Xylene in the 90's on our race cars but it was banned by the AA at Tarlton as it can apparently cause blood cancer. Running 20%toluene and 5% xylene gave 107 octane. The one gives a high MON and the other a high RON. You can burn plugs and pistons if the mixture cannot be enriched by 3-5%.
Nice power but graph suggests a pulling back of timing between 4300rpm and 4600rpm. These motors and turbo tend to want to make a lot of power at this stage. Push up your octane and there is probably another 20kw.
You can use two options.
1)Ethanol is allowed by BMW up to 10%.If you use this figure with 95 octane your rating goes up to 98 octane. In North America the guys go up to 30% but unless your software can accomodate this it's a bit overboard. If you able to use 30% octane goes up to 105.
2)Methonal with a 4% content to your 95octane.Do not mix before you need it. The first day gives 102octane, second day 100octane, 3rd day 98octane and here it stabalises. You do need to add 1% acetone for the methonol to mix with the 95.
Show us the numbers!!!!
