DSLR + 1M closeup pics

so yesterday i got myself a DSLR camera (not a photographer but could not resist the price) ... still getting the hang of this ... took some close up pics of some 1M bits and pieces, not the best ... once i get to know all the settings i can start challenging Divio

lol thanks ... i need a crash course or a book so that i can learn how to use this camera ... took like 100 pics, only these few were ok ... damn flash some times goes off without me wanting that, or too close up and the camera refuses to take pics ... arrggggggh!!!

and i think they ok, the exhaust pipe one looks cool with the water vapour ... but still not magazine material yet ... picked up this DSLR for R1500 ... when they retail for R10k ... :rollsmile:

i know shit bout photography ... guess maybe a new hobby

DSLR A350 Sony ... was told its not bad, not the best but not bad ...

damn flash some times goes off without me wanting that, or too close up and the camera refuses to take pics ...

Try shoot in P mode - this should give the ability to choose when the flash fires and not.

The other thing is just a reality - you have to take note of your lens' minimum focusing distance.
