Downpipe

Howzit,

What is a downpipe?

Can you do a decat then a downpipe or should you do both at once?

Does full exhaust come with a downpipe and decat, is it better to go this route?

I dont know much so any advice please?

A downpipe is what you use to decat with. :fencelook:

The down pipe connects to the turbine housing on the turbo and goes DOWN under the car and connects to the catalytic convertor. Usually only see this referred to on turbo vehicles. On non turbo it is referred to as the front pipe or connecting manifold.

It shouldn't matter if you just do the decat and do the downpipe later. But doing a full exhaust would be the recommended way to go. :thumbs:
