Downpipe without tune

Hi guys,

I Just wanted to find out if any of you are running any DP’s and are still under motorplan.

I want a DP but without a tune. I just want enhanced exhaust pops that all. I have a friend who has a new M140i shadow edition and he has a downpipe. He just takes it out when the car goes in for a service.

Just want to see if anyone else is doing the same?

I have doing the same, flashing the car back to stock and removing the dp if need to before sending the car into the dealer....

If you went pops and bangs on the N55 then you might need both a tune and dp

Just a dp is fine. Has plenty pops and bangs without a tune.
I have the M Perf Exhaust with DP and it sounds class.

Just take out before service and you good

Its not a problem ran my M135i this way with a mini cat/cat fooler zero issues sound was amazing. Only people who smell your fumes while behind you with their window open will complain :roflol:

Also did u remove it before service at the BMW dealer?
