technical downgrading from x5 G05 30d to x5 F15 30d

I picked up a 2019 G05 30d at the end of last year and put about 10,000 KM on it so far. I was coming from a 21' X3 20d, so the G05 was a big step up. Occasionally, I drive my granddad's 2016 F15 30d and find that it "Just drives better". That F15 was my dad's, which he upgraded for a 24' LCI, but he still misses the F15.

I'm thinking of selling the G05 and getting a 2017-2018 low-mileage F15 30d if I can find one. (something under 100k KM). I'm familiar with both platforms, so I know how solid the F15's are (30d Specifically). If I could find someone looking to upgrade from their clean F15 to a clean G05, that would be ideal as well.

Why not swop with your granddad, if you're after a f15?

It is an option but there's a few reasons why:

1) his is a 2016 model with about 135k and he barely drives it, has done maybe 5000km in the past year. He's also got quite a few dings and scratches on it from some mishaps (his about 74 now and his driving and parking isn't what it used to be)

2) I'd prefer getting a later model with lower mileage and some more extras. The 2017-2018 models are also known for being the last and most reliable F15's (not that the 2016 wasn't reliable)

3) it'll also be nice to pocket the extra cash from selling the G05 and paying much less for the F15

I've been following MitMak motor's videos lately and apparently Leon Schuster is selling his F15 X5 with low mileage to them and he's looking for a G05.

Maybe make contact with uncle Bobby and see if you can maybe do a swap deal on the G05 for that F15 before it gets listed.
