Why is the panel gap on the bonnet so small on the left and so large on the right???

Good looking car though :thumb:

I went to pick up my 320d with my then company car, a E34 525i. I first stalled the diesel as the E34 was auto and the E46's clutch was a bit 'hard', but when I floored second gear out of the dealership yard, you could not wipe the smile off my face.... Hooked on diesel for life.

Sent from a tiekiebox.

You know it's not going I stop there. You're either going for ice next or a set of 20' BBS LM Rs with red centres. Yeeha

My most memorable collection must have been my 2001 e46 318ti.

Not for the car as much though. Was my birthday week, and a mate took me out the night before on a proper pub crawl.

I Remember we left the last pub in the late hours of early morning, and "forgot" to give the barman their glasses back.

Anyway, sat at the dealership with one moer of a head ache and a very VERY dry mouth.

First car was a BMW and collection was business. When i got it home I washed it and checked the oil:inlove: no feeling like reading "made in bavaria".

MCoupe. I had to fly to Lanseria, got caught in a bomb scare and spent the day in CT international having police dogs sniff my crotch and listening to very upset passengers... the day after my stag night. But when I say the coupe being eased over the speed bumps and pull up next to me... well trouser accident comes to mind.

M5 I have not let myself get excited yet. but when i get back she will be all fixed up and i can start enjoying her:thumbs:

How stunning my e92 looked that day, it had that "sold" sticker on top and there it was patiently waiting for yours truly :roflol: i could not wait to finish the paperwork and hit the M1 and boy did i strecth her legs on my way back to Brits

but on the other hand it was not easy letting go of my e87, that car never gave me any problems, i used to call it the black jambo jet :roflol:

Picked up my e90 on my birthday, left my piece of scrap corsa right there and never looked back..
When I picked up my F30 I misjudged the torque and spun on the tiles..

The day I brought the 540 home, was also the day I handed over the keys for the 528i over to the new owner, Roundal. I had at this point not taken actual possession of the 540, but the deal with the previous owner was that I would take care of putting the car through roadworthy etc. So to make things easier, he just gave me the car to keep with me. It was quite a hectic day and not long after I arrived home, Greg (Roundal) was there to sign/ pay and take the car. Once he had left, I turned my attanton to the 540, as I still had guests coming over for dinner. But I could not find the keys anywhere. Ater an hour of frantic searching, I realised that in the mayhem of taking all my belongings out of the 528i and putting it in the 540, I must have locked the keys in the boot! No matter I hear you say, just get the spare keys...Ja, sure...they were given to me by the seller when I picked up the car, and were now locked in the car too!!

Luckily the car was parked in the driveway, but I was petrified that this meant having to tow the car to the dealer to get new keys made etc...what a mess. I phoned my mech, I phoned Drivesure and the dealer and it soon became clear that the only out was a locksmith. Phoned these guys, can't remeber the name now, but the guy listened to my predicament, and just said, "ja no problem"...I was sceptical and very concerned. He came over, and proceeded to use a little inflation device betwen the boot lid and rear window, inflated just enough to get at the wiring harness that runs along the side of the boot, carfully popped it out and probed a short in the locking mechanism.

When that boot popped open and I saw those keys lying there, it was the BEST feeling EVER!

Deo, you're probably going to hate me for this but I thought you'd like the 1m air curtain front bumper coupled with HRE, hopefully it will give you a future wheel option
