Hope this is the correct forum for this thread.

I'm really pissed off about the behaviour of a fellow forum member registered under the name "Nishen".

Unless the reason for Nishen's behaviour is that he's met with some horrible fate (which I hope for his sake is not the case), his conduct is inexcusable and should be given air-time - hence this thread.

About 2 weeks ago Nishen sent me a message enquiring whether my 330d was still available for sale and expressing a keen interest in buying it. I informed him that although it was still available, it had been handed over to a car dealer to sell on my behalf.

Nishen asked to view the vehicle. To this end, we arranged to meet me this past Saturday at the premises of the dealer. He also asked me to arrange with the dealer (who has the vehicle marked at R120,000) to agree to him buying it at the price at which I had ultimately offered it to forum members before handing it over to the dealer (i.e. R110,000) and to get the details of the car's service history before we met, all of which I did.

I arrived at the dealer's premises at the arranged time. Nishen didn't pitch. I telephoned him from the dealer's premises. He didn't take my call. I left a message for him. He didn't respond. I later sent him a PM inviting him to explain. I've heard nothing. He put me to quite a bit of trouble and inconvenience and has not seen fit to proffer an explanation.

Bottom line, his conduct is downright inconsiderate and this is something that fellow members should know about him.

I agree, arranging a meeting, making time and arrangements and then having the other party not showing up is utter disrespect. If you want to back out, at least let the other party know.

I had the same once on the other side of a car deal - made arrangements to view a car, 50km away from me and the guy never pitched. I did not even bother again. Luckily though, the guy who eventually bought it some 5 months later had the engine throw a conrod within two months of ownership, so it was probably fate.

On the other hand, I hope he is okay.

(I was just thinking about your car over lunch again, wondering if it's been sold...)

I hate “yay sayers”. They are pompous time wasters and they don’t even have the decency to at least send an SMS saying that they are not pitching.

@P1000: At this rate it'll still be available in years to come as a vintage car bud and hopefully then you'll able to buy:)

@ the rest of the crew - shot boys - nice to know we're on the same page.

@ajm, You get alot of time waisters thats why having the dealership go through all the trouble of selling your car was a good move, rather let them handle the sale now so even if a friend/family buy the car and they have issue in the long run they didn't buy it from you technically so no hard feelings.

Nishen wont be back here thou or under the same name:hammerhead:

What's your problem Nishen? I hope the reason you didn't pitch up is because the missus had other plans with you :whip:

I guess it would be best to wait for his side of the story, but I agree it is only polite to just let someone know that you will not be able to make it for whatever reason.

not pitching is one thing... but then not even having the balls to answer the call or reply on anything... thats just inexcusable...
