Bad luck not nice at all. Looks like 100k damage to me, also the comment on MP as it will go to the ARC :sorry: that is actually the worse part as resale takes a hit now.
These things happen, not as bad but just yesterday I knicked the 335i's left rear rim for the first time ever.. Not impressed as it will cost me $$$ for a new OEM one now, sigh. Luckily I can replace without a comment.

Maybe some more money should have been spent on driving lessons and less on the X6M...:fencelook:

There is clearly a software issue or glitch, the car is no longer identifying objects like people and animals. Usually at night the car uses fog lights to identify objects and then follows those objects and the car tells me what they are. After a software update this stopped.
While I was reversing the pdc was not identifying anything behind the car and when I got out there was a pillar a bin and a car that were all in my blind spot (X6 shape )that the car did not identify any of these objects. The pillar was also not in the view of the reverse camera. The pillar was eventually identified by a bang!!
The car has been acting weird ever since last service, idrive would be intermittent and sometimes system would freeze. Barely use the car so just never got around to take it back in for them to look at, which was silly of me.
In any case I blame myself, a blonde was thanking me for giving her change to pay her parking ticket at Hyde park mall.
She was still saying something to me close to my driver side window which is why I mostly relied on the pdc and everything else. Then bang.

So the car has been repaired!!!
Everything looks great, the finish and the new tail lights. They also threw in new badges.
There was a faulty module that was creating systems problem which is coming from Germany. Going in for fitting in the 12th.
Got some new shoes on her return!! Michelins all round. The fronts looked destroyed after 30000km
