Dillema - Chip or exhaust?

Seeing as my MAF sensor broke it took a nice bite out of my finances. I now only have the money to do one or the other.

The chip i wanted to do from the start but i was advised later to do a full freeflow and then do the chip. The car has already been decatted. Im scared that the full freeflow will give a big drone and I actually like the sound the car is making now.

If i do the chip and later decide to do the freeflow its gonna cost me a extra grand just to reset the chip to accommodate the new exhaust.

Seeing as im a student ive been saving to do this chip for a while now but now i don't know what to do.

Any advice please?

If you want to have the best power at the long run do the full exhaust system then the chip but if you say that the cat's is out already well takeing out money for only 2-3kw extra is not really that big diffrence is up to you but why not rather cut the cams..
