Different Tyre Profiles

Its on a 130i. So i spoke to a few places and they recommend i run 225/45/17 all around.

Your 17's is a 7J and 7,5J. You can have 205 on the front and 225 on rear

So the rear rim is a bit wider then?

Because i want to change the front tyres of my car but then put the tyres on my rear rims on the front, and the new tyres on the back.

Yes the rear rims are 7.5" wide and the fronts are 7" wide.

That means you can fit wider tyres on the rear than the front.

Best is to find out what the tyre sizes the car came out originally and move to that.
