N47T is the updated one. '10 onwards, carried over to F series with some small modifications. These are pretty bulletproof and don't suffer (as far as I'm aware) from timing chain issues. It has a much better ECU as well - known as the 135kW version.

What preventative maintenance can one do to prevent the timing chain from stretching? Is there an upgraded HPFP maybe? And the bearings :blueCry:?
And can the ECU be tweaked to the same spec as the better one?
