Diesels on NOS?

Hi Guys,

Has any NOS kits been fitted to diesel BMWs.
What sort of power / torque could be achieved?

I actually read up on it a while back out of interest sake, and it can be done. I`m sure gains would be based on the amount of NOS you spray into the intake...but I`m no expert...

Lets see what some of the Tuners say?

That's exactl the point .....

On any motor, Nos creates detonation. I wouldnt advise it for any motor unless you want to change rings etc periodically.

I was under the impression NOS only works well on petrol engines and that why you rather do a water-meth kit on a diesel

NOS works on any engine as it carries extra oxygen which is released on compustion, hence more power ..... you may wanna call it a "chemical turbo" :idea:

So why don't you just pump compressed air into your car? I realize pure oxygen will be a little too explosive but there must be a decent concentration tank available.

pumping pure O2 is way to dangerous... N2O in not flammable till its compressed inside the engine so its way safer and N2O has more O2 in than normal air...

You looking at around R3000 for a Stage 1 Devil`s Own
Water Meth kit IIRC

And what would a bottle of Nos cost? plus the cost to fill it?

I think 100% pure meth is now selling at R7 a liter.
