Just paid R12.78 now and that is the best price in the area others are up to R12.98:thumbdo:

The excel next to afb waterkloof sells sasol 50ppm at R12.58

So Minty's still the best this month... Put in "only" R700 the other day at another garage. Got just under 55l which makes it about R12.72. So would have been R681 at mintys.

So I guess I can conclude the following:
1) It's barely worth travelling to a different garage
2) We are getting shafted just in general, not by the garages but by the govt.

Last I heard they had an overrecovery so it should go down next month, but you know how it is, up 80c and down 5c

Went to buy smokes and checked the price.....

Its about 20c cheaper than what I paid on Saturday in Midrand to fill up :thumbs:

The price that is shown on their large board for diesel is R13,79, which the petrol attendant confirmed was a mistake, due to be corrected. Thank goodness!!!

I only use 500ppm for internal lubrication purposes
We have 3 Diesel in the household, 2x X5 3.0 and my daughter's 320d all with software and de-DPF and they run fine :thumbs:

There's an unbranded station ( At the Minty's ) on Jan Smuts, R11.90 this morning for 50ppm, it's Sasol diesel, so also decent quality.

Yup always fill up there. Mentioned it before in this thread. I looked through the rest of the thread and didn't see anywhere cheaper. Also haven't found anywhere cheaper myself. The staff are always friendly and helpful as well.
