Did i make the right choice of colour?

Ordered a black sapphire metallic 320d
Extra's are :

Xenon lights
Sunroof
Logic 7
Sportpack
18' AC Schnitzer AS3's from my mcoupe

Now its coming on wednesday....I dont know if black was the right choice....

Will the goodness of black wear off?

Not wear off as such. but stone chips.

Its just much harder to keep clean and fine scratches do show up easily.

After about 3 years you will have to have the front redone, at least the clear coat.

Don't think black will ever go out.

Keep it clean, and she will be a beauty forever. But for Pete's sake, whatever you do, do NOT have it polished with an orbital polish machine if the guys don't know what they are doing.

A black car with those swirl marks looks horrible, and a black car shows a swirl mark quicker than anything.

Beautiful choice but you have to do the VPS treatment for bonnet and mirrors, had it done to my e46 carbon black M3
