I have the bavarian technik tool.
Does everything the dealers can

It costs about 7-8k for full version, 3000 for enthusiast ver.
With enthusiast, u can only load 3 vins.

Check out this place...they are in Pretoria...
http://www.obdsa.com/bmw.htm

They have 3 different systems for BMW...

1. BMW EDIABAS\INPA (amazing system and you can do anything that a BMW GT1 can do)
2. Carsoft (Used to diagnose the major car systems, can reset codes + Airbag light, clear adaptations and give Live Data)
3. PaSoft (Does everything that Carsoft does but also allows you to code and calibrate the cars modules)

If anyone has bought number 1...can I buy you a beer and get to know you :)

mmm, try and find a pin out of the 2 cables, you would hate to fry your ecu with the wrong voltages etc going into the wrong places :)

I have bought number 1, with a cable that actually works. Beware of cheap Ebay ones.

I am reselling the set for a small ammount. PM me for details. And yes, Ediabas/Inpa is an awesome system. Live data aswell.

I would be keen to compare it to the Bavtech. Which version is it? Does it have a date and please pm me the price.
