Decent BMW for under R100k

So I have been looking for new-ish BMW for about R160k-R200k and found that the 320i is the only option if I want a motorplan as well.

I just want to know for interest sake if I had to buy a BMW for under R100k what should I be looking for. Obviously the car will have more than 100000km and be out of motorplan. Which models are the most reliable in this price range?

Oh yes and will I be able to get finance on such a old car?

For a 100k and less you can get yourself a decent e46 6-cyl or a e39 V8, if well looked after the 6-cyl's are really reliable, and plenty of smiles. I am not to clued up on the V8's but from what I've heard those engines are also bulletproof, but I am sure one of the V8 guys will soon pitch in to convince to to get one :)

You can get the best looking BMW of all time! And that with a V8 or i6, whichever you like even an M5 can be had for that price range... Buying newer might give you some false peace of mind, though...

I would recommend same - e46 325 or 330.
Financing may be a concern though. Try Wesbank or Mfc.

I can offer you a E36 316i 118500Km on the clock.. about 35000Km on the engine (replaced by BMW at about 88000Km at their expense due to manufacturing fault).. Full house.. For R45k

e90 320i is 4cylinder and a real donkey, u can pick up a 330i for that money, u wont regret it!!! If its ur second car, a v8 will surely make u cum when your wife kicks u out!

I never had a motor plan before - and buying a new car is not an option in my books. And this is just my opinion. Even new cars have problems.
e46 6cylinder that was well looked after.
