De-Carboned

Hi Guys

So I had my car treated to some TLC by Carbon Dr. I started sufferring from bad fuel consumption as well as a lumpy idle. I started averaging around 13l/100km mark where my previous average was around 10.5/100km mark.

After Mr Smooth sent me the pics I was shocked to see the state that my intakes were in. Also he advised that cylinder 5 & 6 was almost clogged up.

Nice and clean again.

All I can say is that this treatment is a definite must for all direct injection engines. And the proof is in the pudding as they would say.

Consumption is back around to 10l/100km mark after 150km of driving. Also power has increased as I done a before and after dyno.

Thanks George:thumbs:

who does this in cape town?

Working on a Cape Town place. It is a intricate job so not easy to find the right person with attention to detail. We might do a one week tour a month and take pre-bookings.

After the carbon clean the 3L/100km's saving in fuel translates to a lot of dosh saved. Torque gains are great with up to 25nm in some places. The car will now accept more boost without complaining. Great result, enjoy it and a good choice to clean her nostril before moving on with further mods.

Thats awesome. 2.5L/100km saving translates to R30 odd rand/100km. I want to see someone's vrou complain that their hubby is spending money on the cab for nothing :roflol:
