Afternoon Gents

I have a question for the enthusiasts on the form I have a e92 335i with the DCT gearbox but I can not get the launch control to work at all, have read countless posts tried various versions of getting to lc but nothing. Last option is to update/re-flash the TCU launch control usually starts working from what I can gather. BMW does not want to flash the TCU as according to them it cant be done the cars to old, is there anyone that can assist me in flashing a new ZB to my TCU?

Thanks in advance.

Small side note oil temps are always above 90 when trying to launch.

You can drop the 5000rpm launch control with flashing other software on it.

We have done this multiple times successfully

By other software do you mean like the 135s ZB version? I know they have 3500 RPM LC or backend flashes like xhp?

Using the ZBs you can drop the launch to 3500rpm.
You can also use the XHP but that DCT stuff is much more expensive.

We can however do both.

Lol I know xhp is expensive especially for the DCT box:cry: how much do you charge for the zb version flash? As the BMW delers just say sorry and I am still getting up to speed on using INPA and Winkfp . I was able to get my LC working this morning by resting my adaptions, but damn on my Stage 1+ flash I have wheel spin for days

Updating the ZB via WinKFP for the EGS using GS40 module is the way to go to correct this.

Use XHP if you are more heavily tuned, and/or want to adjust the Diff Final Ratio to 3.15 to fit the M3 rear LSD Diff without needing to do the appropriate hardware and software additions.

But updating the Gs40 ZB# is your way to go. you looking ZB#8606092 (EU 335i) or ZB#8606094 (335is). its the latest, and has the better line pressures. if you hybrids then you want the 135is ZB#8606072 for the lower 3500rpm launch.

Thanks for the info you covered everything I needed. Recently acquired the WinKFP software so still in the process of learning.

Will definitely be loading the 135sZB once I have my skills up to date.
