As always the guys at Goch and Cooper suprised the hell out of me with the gains on a non aspirated car with almost no margine for play

Here are the results:

awesome gains there bud! do you still have cats in the car? i see that line inclines till redline! if you move the limiter up to 6800rpm or even 7000rpm you will be suprised to find more power! decent gain right through the range.. i love that torque line! how does it feel on the road?

Congrats Chris....Ya i like that dyno too...it is a little on the conservative side but i prefer it so. G&C has been working with Dastek for as long as i can remember (ages)...and you can be assured of their support as well. :thumbsup:

Same as streetracer...are the cats out?...if not that is something they can do as well with a custom exhaust set-up.

Thanx guys. Really impressed with the car. Can definately feel a difference. Especially the torque. The cats have already been removed and replaced with straight pipes but the stock boxes are still in. The initial plan was to first do the full free flow exhaust and then the chip but finance and my lack in patience got the better of me and i always wanted a DASTEK UniQ chip. Will definately do the exhaust in the future.

I know that especially on this forum those gains are very menial against the graphs of the m3's and especially the 335i's but for G and C to get that power from a 11 year old engine with over 211000km is amazing. The other problem that we had is that one of the sensors regularly cut the power so we will have to look at that.

Yes, but this is at the coast!

Yep thats why that type of power. I picked up like 6KW tunned by dastek in PTA on the 325TI. But then again i think Dastek in PTA tunes your car to economy spec... Not full potential power

hehe, i hope so otherwise i got a damn raw deal. I was also suprised at the amount of power they extracted but as STREETRACER pointed out i still think theres more power left to be unlocked.

STREETRACER, do you know what kind of gains one could expect from doing the full freeflow exhaust and tuning the software afterwards?
