Dashboard warning/signs

Hello,
please help. a ROUND warning sign with the word LIMIT written in the centre is appearing on the dashboard.
what does it mean.
I cant find the manual.

it's a 2007 BMW 320i Exclusive (E90) with Idrive

There is a speed limit set on you OBC, go to vehicle settings and look for speed limit and put it off, this will stop the warning,

I was also just about to reply. Yes this is your speed limit set on the idrive. As soon as you exceed this it will limit your car or just notify you that you are exceeding it. Nice but also annoying feature.

You can disable this in the idrive settings. :thumbs:

Don't feel bad. There was a guy on the forum that once asked if his car was 4 or 6 cylinder... :facepalm:

The only time i've seen that is when a guy on you tube was doing a 0 to 100 in his auto 335i, so you are hitting the rev limit in a certain gear
