CUSTOMS HELP REQUESTED

HI guys

Does anyone have a contact at EMS - Customs

"the johannesburg international mail centre. Customs so government"

I have a parcel that was ordered and has been sitting with the since the 23rd of September

This has be enroute from germany for almost 2 months now
Other parcels that have been sent from Germany have already been dispatched that was sent after this parcel

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Hey man, we in the same boat. I also have a parcel sitting there since 24 December. Also through EMS. Not sure what action we could take. Have you tried the ems website? I tried sending email but no response

tried the website - NO change there

Tried calling to no avail
We know that the parcel is def there lying on the floor
but Fk's have not released it

Guys,

Send a friendly e-mail to with your international tracking number to : JIMC Customer Services -
[email protected]

Emphasis on friendly... and you will get a response with the local tracking number of whether it has cleared customs or not.

I have always had a timely response (sometimes immediate, sometimes a day later).... better than being totally in the dark!

Tried this.

No response. I was as friendly as merry Poppins. Nothing. Is there an option to actually fetch it? Because I work in Jo'burg and that won't be a problem. Perhaps if we both go, then they might take note?

There has been communication with EMS from the Supplier

They are fully aware that the Parcel is there

have an e92 and they trying there luck here or they just incompetent period

JIMC been very slow the past 2 months already for me with incoming parcels. Even if you do email [email protected] don't expect a response the same day or next 2 days. If friendly, they reply about 3-4 days later. If not friendly...email never gets responded to.

Well thats a result mate :D

Definately a contact that some of us who do regular importing could use in the future :D
id like to give you some tracking numbers lol
