Curious

This is a very quiet forum. I suspect there are very few owners of these beautiful cars or most owners are the executive type with little time for social media or the cars are just too good & strong so there is little to discuss other than praise them or I am under the influence of the 3 series forum which has more owners & problems.

Driving a BMW doesn't make one a car enthusiast. Sure, you may like cars, but not everyone has the passion and time to appreciate and talk about cars in the same light as most of the forum members do.

You will find topics across the spectrum here, which essentially gives us an insight as to where a member is and how 'deep' into motoring one is. Be it, DIYs, build threads or simply asking for assistance and knowledge.

IMO - there is no right or wrong either, its an addiction. You either in it or you're not and maaaany people have joined for various reasons :smilebounce:

EDIT: I see that this is in the 5er section. Apologies if you meant that its quiet from that aspect :chef:

Yes from that aspect exactly. I i think I have to start acting like a 5er now, get a chill & enjoy the ride.

these forums at one stage a great 5'er community

but alas

some forumiets left
others left the 5'er family

but it is also a fact that if you go to a fanatics meet, you will probably only see 1'er and 3'er, mainly due to the population numbers
