Cubby hole opens radio stops !!!

Hi Guy's

Okay just a quick question and I hope someone might have an Idea.

I have a 2006 X5 4.4i 82 000km on the clock.
Now every now and again the CD would stop playing and this Auntie would tune me something in german. I couldn't figure out what or how or why, it just seemed random.

So today as i fetched my daughter from school she realised as she openned and closed the cubby hole that the music would stop and this auntie would say something ( she is 9 years old in a german school and even she couldn't tell me).

So my question is why when i am driving along and someone opens the cubby hole would it stop the music say something then a 2 second pause then the music will carry on.

I am totally dumb founded by this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You have voice control option in your car?

Seems something is interfering with the wiring for that voice control module when you open the cubby hole??

Just a quick update.
Chased the mother in-law, Blady noise still itthere.

Anyways was at the stealers the other day and it is a parrot bluetooth phone kit. The button control is mounted by the cubby hole lid so everytime you close the cubby pushes the button and gives it.

So i have moved it and programed the missus phone to hook up automaticaly.

Only kak thing now she wants the Mother in-law back. Hahahaha
