Next is full exhaust, decat and then we see how many she pulls.

do the exhaust then WI if you still want more do internals and up boost :)

Boet Ross is un informed! We built the first E46 323i supercharged with a uniQ+ 2years ago.! We eventually turbo'ed the car for joy..
Let him phone dastek the car was there 4 weeks.

Figures why we still having problems with the idle.

Non the less, been driving the car tonight... Wow its fun. VERY QUICK... catching everyone off guard. ha ha.

156kw @ the wheels is fun. Ross believes he needs more time with the tune and he can get a few more out of her and fix the idle problem.

Now to do some accompanying mods, like the full exhaust, de-cat, headers.

Then if I haven't bought my M3 by then, Gas flow the heads, Forged pistons, rods... Up boost.

Not to scare you but not Pieter de weerdt or steve green could sort it out! If the car dumped to long it went into limb mode.. We eventually had Gotec Pro X on the car to eliminate the "full of shit" 323 ECU. But aftermarket management is just never the same again. Cold start and drivability is always best with stock ECU.. We tested the car on the Vbox and it did not break the 15s barrier. We then turbo'ed it and on same boost gained another 50kw and 80nm. The car ran a 13.8 at ODI on 0.7bar boost and pump fuel. Give RGM a shout. They for some reason do not charge anything below a 325i.. I really hope you guys do not have the same issues that we had!

but a 323 and 325 is the same motor isn't it?

it has different management, intake and exhaust but they are very similar... rgm gave me a quote to charge my car so they are doing the 323i dont know why they were messing SR around...

What charger were you guys running. Remember, this kit was designed by VF engineering for the 323i specifically.

The car pulls like mad, a different beast altogether... 200kw on the fly at the moment and loving it... just idle problem... I'll make some vids today. :thumbs:

Vortex V2 but its insignificant what charger was used! The issue comes with the SHIT ECU the 323i came with and the size of the displacement! If you had the software intended for the 323 and the conversion it may be a different story!


Did you make use of some sort of charge cooler? Bigger oil cooler etc?

Nope. Vortech V3, self oiled charger. Uni Q with apparently a new thing that works with Uni Q to control injectors and idling. No Intercooler or charge cooler. Simple Bolt on...

I am impressed with this cars results.

My astra needed 0.9 boost, a walbro pump and extensive tuning to reach 156wkw.

This mod was done in one day (hardware). Now the project shift boys are experienced I rate a one to two weeks turaround is do able!

Well done gents!!:bravo:
