I recently purchased a 2006 E60 525i with the 160kw N52 motor. The car has got 98 000km on the clock and drives like a dream. The other day while I was cleaning it I noticed that the crankshaft pulley has got a very slight vibration/wobble when the car is idling. It smoothes out when the revs picks up. I did feel the pulley but it is not loose. Other than that there absolutely nothing wrong with it and the engine runs very smooth.
I would just like to know whether I should be worried and if it’s a problem what is causing it.
