PM Mike? He'll be able to inspect body/paint work

minimike? Mike is anti BMW Fanatics, he now spends all his time on car forums trying to tarnish us as a community.

Seems I have missed a lot :fencelook:

Me too...He detailed my car in August last year and was the first person to speak to me about getting JB4 installed...:dunno:

Well yeah, he went off the rails, I was just as shocked, even more is the stuff he is saying there.

Hi called the owner the vehicle is on consignment at heritage motors in brackenfell on the corner of old Paarl and brackenfell boulevard.

The vehicle could not be driven however the following was noted;
1) small dent on left back panel
2) scratch marks on the back bumper
3)small dents right back door
4) small dent on the bonnet next to BMW emblem
5) Motorsport rims having curbing scratches would need refurbishing
6) front bumper has damage looks like speed hump dragging
7) left side of the front bumper is loose from the body
8) bottom of the bumper is losing paint
6) interior is neat

Just with these issues and without driving it I wouldn't pay a cent above 75k for this car .
Will arrange a test drive on Monday and load pics of the damage tommorow

Will post pics of damage tommorow

Arthur pointed out the issues. I popped in to have a look and can confirm that the car was neglected and that it can be sorted out. The car needs to be driven for a final opinion though. The interior looks okay for a 2004 model.

The colour of this car is gorgeous

Damn it does look neglected. Love that colour but am put off a bit now, as 635_wes says if exterior was neglected, very possible gremlins lurk mechanically as well.

Arthur and Charles I am so grateful to you guys for going out of your way to view this car. Thanks so much, myself and my mate really appreciate it! :ty::ty::ty:

Wow, how can such a nice car be allowed to be so neglected and damaged like this!?! I would only buy a car like this if they shave a decent amount of money off the selling price, and then fix it up at my own cost - would not ask the dealer to fix as part of the purchase, because you pretty much guaranteed to end up with a very poorly repaired car!

Personally, I would keep looking, there are still quite a few of these out there, maybe not the same spec, but at least cleaner and more well looked after.

Reason I say if it is mechanically sound and taken care off,( a drive and look under the hood will tell this). It could be worth it at the right price.

I bought a Sabre some time back, same as this car, dings here, few scratches there, but mechanically is was in tip top shape. I bought it for that reason at the right price. I sorted out the few dings and scratches out and had a gem that wont break the bank mechanically.

A test drive is in order Yulz, if it passes that the its well worth it, parts are cheap and we got all the right people here in Durban to work their magic.. Having owned a man e46 330d its worth it for 75k..
