the golf 1 is been built at the moment with a 1.8 20v turbo :rollsmile:

Look at the MATH , its not rocket science.

Bigger Turbo (RBs) X35s are making 325wkw.

Here comes a car with stock turbos making not to far off. Turbo will go BOOM. Its pretty simplistic math

@1.1/2 bar , stock Turbos with basic bolt on like DPs are making in the region of 270wkw with a tune. Hate to work out the math needed to make higher 300s wkw. My rough guess is 1.4bar of boost on stock snails (stock snails will never hold up for long)

Based on the number of broken VW GTIs , I need not say any more

But before we jump the gun , hows about a run down on the full mods this car has !

IMO a X35 with JB and bolt on's can easily see 290-300wkw , no need for a special tune. This has been accomplished a few times already.

You can customise certain settings when running a custom map known as map 6 (boost scaling, afr's, etc). Thats what is meant by a custom tune.

A jb4 tune doesnt only provide preset maps but also allows the tuner options for a range of things, ie. meth, boost scaling, afr's, wastegate, etc....
