Hi guys just comfirmed that its on the wheels.its the same topsport dyno the Avi333 ran his 2782ke on maybe he can confirm if its a wkw dyno:thumbsup:

Yes it is wheel kw.I guess my power is more believable cause my car has dp and i had octane.

273 wkw .Well done Mo and cpi(Myen):thumb:

@ lasooh

Its not that we don't want to believe you, its just that if that's your power with just software and your car made std power when stock, you have got the strongest car I know of with software only!
Basically your 20wkw ahead of everything else on the market, and that's huge!!!

run both the cars on ODR or bimmerworks.
alot of other x35i's have run there.

273 on the wheels, what is that on the fly wheel 300+. i'm shocked. this is the most i've seen of or heard of not only in s.a but abroad. CPI? who or what?

@Kisho , CPI has been in the market for years now tuning mostly VAG and the likes of other hot hatches in the market. They have just recently started tuning BMW's with great results.
@Anile8 ,you right with running the car on ODR dyno as they are tried and tested , but the point of the excercise was to gauge limits of a software tune and results speak for the themself based on the results Avi got on the very same dyno.

Its sitting slightly over 1bar but octane is needed.Next time I'll throw in some NF race to see what the outcome will be. Look guys don't look too much into the power fig all I'm saying is look how close we got with just a tune to a vehicle with dps s/w.

No stress Avi I'm sure we can work something out.You no I got nothing to hide.

laloosh with what kind of boost did you make that power? Just curious because most tuners cannot boost more than 1bar without getting the check engine lights going of like a Christmas tree.

As I said before slightly over a bar but the car needs more octane.I only went into limp once and that was becos I really pushing the car non stop.I really got nothing to prove to any1 I'm just showing the gains we got on a stg1 compared to a stage 2 vehicle on the same dyno.

Guess my car is something special then if I only hit limp once boosting over a bar

I've said this 100 times & nobody seems to believe me. DP's don't make any peak power. I've seen this with 63mm, 67mm & 76mm. Done it on my car, Devash's car, Mamz car, K's car, & plenty more. Different downpipes, some from overseas on different cars on different dyno's & none of them gained peak kw. None of them. You gain huge torque at the bottom with the better spool, and maybe a few hp up top. For me it's still a worthwhile mod due to the decrease in lag, & the eagerness of the car to rev. But peak power on a dynosheet, is almost nothing.

Some food for thought. Most people modify there cars after its done some miles. Could people especially in the states be yielding more power due to existing cat blockage from all the crap they have in there fuel including very high ethanol levels which we all know leaves residue on the plugs (see octane boosters).

i would still like to know what the gains are with the cpi software.
Forget that the dyno showed 273kw.. Coz it wouldnt be impressive if that same dyno read 250kw stock.. (Just an example).
Did u do a befor run?

And i am not doubting your car or tunes abilities.. I am just REALLY interested.

Ok I finally got to do a before n after dyno. After sorting out my clutch issues I decided to put the car on a more reputable dyno. I went this afternoon to Autotrix dyno. Btw stars the owner of the place is very helpfull so if any of you guys want a good place to dyno I recommend them. Stars had advised that quite a few excede cars have graced his dyno but his dyno tends to be a bit tight compared to the rest in dbn. We did 2 stock runs 1st 1 being 211kw and 378nm atw's and 2nd being 210kw and the same torque fig. Then we loaded the file that took like 15min or so don't think that was enough time for the car to cool down. Then we proceeded with next run which yeilded the same fig twice of 244kw and 478 nm atw's. All in all I'm still quite pleased at the runs , if equated to the fly that's close to 290kw. Oh also I put in a bottle of nf sport so we suspect that's why we have such a slightly higher stock fig.
