I get pulled over all the time being a yellow man with a yellow car... But some of them just wanna check out the car which is cool... Except 1 time a cop wanna to test drive my car to see if it was roadworthy, in the middle of the night, near hillbrow:nonono:

But my brother told me 1 time he got stopped at the roadblock and all the police was checking out the car haha and they didn't even want to check his license or anything...

And then the police was like, "Ok dude, I'm gonna stop both side of the traffic and you gonna show me what this baby can do!" LOL... So my bro did like the bad@$$ launch control and everyone just looked on and shook their heads haha:biglol::roflol::rollsmile:

Once happened to me in the e36 m3. Car had no plates at the time. Was about 9 at night on a friday.
Pulled over, guns out, but when i got out the car they relaxed. Just said that a car with no plates riding to the loco at that time is usually stolen.

Was just 30 secs and they let me go. Funny thing was they never check to see if it was indeed stolen.

I almost got a fine for the opel's number plate not being in the middle of the car.

Got pulled over with nissan hardbody and was told they tires was dangerous because they were trowing stones at them.

Got pulled of at least 20 times with the golf 2 where they search the car for drugs and fire arms and then told its a cool car.

And I were pulled over in the toyota and after checking everything on the car for about 20min not finding anything wrong they asked me to buy them a 2l coke????

I was driving down Louis Botha last Thursday night at 11:45 wearing a tuxedo.

This cop (blue boys, not metro) jumps out in front of me and signals me to pull over, I saw his police vehicle otherwise I would not have stopped.

Anyway, he walks up to my windows and says "is everything ok" I said "yep, all good thanks" and he tells me to go on my way. What exactly is the point of that?

Was he hoping I would say, "Ah no......not really, I have a dead crack whore in the boot, 2kgs of coke up my ass and a stolen gun in the cubby hole"?

You wont believe how many stolen cars we pick up by just stopping random cars.

Ive been pulled over a few times, but one that Ill always remember is this story:

We used to live in Kenridge, Cape Town and I still had my 325i e46. Now I had a few coloured friends that worked with me, I was their manager. So one Friday eve I told them that we should all go out and go play pool and have a few beers, but we must go to somewhere where they will feel comfortable - but not dangerous.

So we have a few beers at the shop before we leave, and three of them get in the car with me while the other three get in black GWM double cab, with tinted windows. So we have a few robot to robots which off course the BM takes, so by now these guys are cheering and pointing and I can assume it looks intimidating from the outside... with a this black bakkie following closely behind.

No we are on our way to Stones in Kuilsriver according to these guys when we stop at a red robot, GWM pulls right up to my ass. Cops pull in next to me and I give them this worried look... Next moment they pull infront of me get out guns drawn and order 'die brothers van diie numbers gang' out of the vehicles... My friends PILE out the car hands in the air. I was pissing myself laughing.

So I explained to them the situation between all the 'Ma se ...' coming from the guys now lined up against the van. The cops eventually saw the humour and came to join us for a beer after their shift ended a hour later.

The Dynamic attracts a lot of attention so the cops love stopping me and just look the car over.

I got pulled off twice in one day on the Grayston on ramp onto the M1 in the 540iM (was told because guy's in silver BM's shoot at the Cops), yet later the same day they don't even look at me with the 550i minus the front number plate,

Thats because the tint on the 540 is not as dark as the one on the 550, they can still see you...suspect....:biglol:

Hi Guys

reading your stories I gotta add mine to the list.
Friday just past went to Durban to collect the X5 i bought for the wife.
Lekka Black 06 X5 4.4i with dark tinted windows no plates on. So coming back I was driving on the N2 going towards Richardsbay. This was Around 6 to 6:30 at night.

We cruising along at about 160km/h and we come across the blue light brigade. the buggers in the fast lane doing about 140km/h flashing people to pull over so they can pass. So i do the same. Flash and flash again and again and finally I just left my Brights on. Nothing they not moving out of the fast lane. A case of up yours china. So I get a gap put the foot down and pass the buggers in there fortuners (2 of them) in the left lane, pull back into the fast lane and carried on cruising at 150, 160 km/h.

So these buggers decide they gonna sit on my ass with there blue flashing lights, Nah bugger that put the foot further onto the go fast pedal and start hitting the 200km/h mark and leave them behind. Carry on at that speed for a while slow down to about 180km/h cause the wife is starting to notice how fast i"m driving. I pass a NPA traffic car which is driving slowly in the slow lane. No worries check in mirror no lights lekka. check mirror a little while later Dam blue light brigade back on my ass, So hit the accelerator climb to 200 again but these buggers are sitting on my ass, So i recon I better pull into slow lane cause these guys are really going now, As I pull into slow lane car pulls up next to. It wasn't the blue light brigade but the NPA traffic cops tell me to pull over. So by the Gingindlovu toll off ramp pull over. 1 Cop drivers side 1 cop passengers side, I didn't see the third traffic cop standing behind the vehicle until wife told me.

So im shouting at my daughter to put back the dealer plate ( took it down incase of those pesky cameras) in back window. She cant find where it is and cop tapping on my window. When I openned the window and he saw it was a White family he relaxed. Then asks me do I know I was speeding. Very seriously say yes sir I am sorry i was doing 140 in a 120 zone. He just shook his and gave a funny look. Asked why no plates. Told him just bought it dealerplate in window ( My Daughter holding it against the window cause the prestick is gone). Then told me to go on my way, but to be careful on the roads and not to do 140km/h in a 120km/h zone.

Have to mention Wife loves her X5 until she realised I used almost a whole tank in only 350km.

Sorry a bit long.

Yea, I thought they would arrest you for that :fencelook: but I guess they had other things to do (the cops in the 1st paragraph).

With my black e36 Motorsport I had a fender bender that cracked my front number plate and it wouldn't stay in its holder so it was left in the trunk with a good intention to get it repaired. Anyway after a few speed camera flashes and what not, the motivation to fix got less and less. The story about the fender bender was accepted and I rather cunningly never washed the number plate holder... giving the illusion that it had just been exposed.

After a while of this a cop pulled me over and asked about the plate. I told the sob story and he just smiled and wrote me a ticket. Told me to get a less conspicuous car... he remembers pulling me off several months ago and if he catches me again he will charge me with something more serious than missing plates.

Sounds like its not such a bad thing being randomly stopped. and BMWs fit the stereotype... aslong as there is no harassment of innocents.

Imagine how thankful you will be if the cops call and say your stolen M5 was recovered in a random traffic stop...

You guys wont believe it!!! Driving from a friend this afternoon, I got pulled over by the provincial traffic cops.
The guy actually starts walking ALL around my car, looking at EVERY little detail, then gets to my window and tells me: "Bliksem Boss, your car she very is beautiful!!!" to which I reply "thank you." :)
So I ask him why he stopped me?
He tells me: "You see Boss, when I see you go the other way, I tell my colleagues that this car, when I see it once more, I MUST stop it to look at it at a closer angle!! EISH!! She is precious!!! So no problem, you can go now!!"
So I thanked him, and drove off, only to TOTALLY "pluk my moer" at what he had said!!!
My car is not Precious!!! She doesn't work in the kitchen!!! :mmm:
