Cooper S wheels?

Not sure what they sell for but my advise is to keep them as spare as the Cooper S does not have a spare wheel.

At least keep them until you can get a decent space saver.

I bought a set of those for R3500 with good (70%) runflat tyres. They look great but are heavy brutes, you'll be blown away by the new set if they are lighter.

Just out of interest, you sure it's not the runflat tyres that caused the entire combo to be heavy?

oh, would you say the mags or the runflats are to blame for the weight?

I was referring to the S-Lite wheels themselves, but no-doubt ditching the runflats helps a lot, bringing it to about the same as a lighter rim with a runflat fitted.

I went from 16" R83 5-Star (9.1kg) with non-runflats to the 17" S-lites (11.4kg) with run-flats on a stock Cooper and just about killed it!

I'd guess that non run-flat tyres would save about 2-3kg each? Bringing it back down to a reasonable level. I also think the tyres were a bit bigger than stock on mine, which would have exasperated things. So, in hindsight, the tyres probably were a large part of the problem.
However, I would still call a lightweight rim & tyre combo a legitimate performance/handling upgrade!

so... how much can i sell a set of 17" s-lites for with 80% life, non runflat tires?

What tyres are on them?  (Manufacturer, Model, Size)

I would ask R6000 if they have a good brand of tyre on them. Closer to R4000 if the tyres are crap.
