I have a E46 330i 2004 6sp. Changed the expansion bottle after the old one started leaking. All went well but now the coolent levels drop and have ti fill almost a litre every 10 days or so. Got under the car to look for leaks and couldn't see anything. Temp gauge ok but eish am not comfortable. What could this be. Secondly since buying this car notice it has a vibration at abot 100kmhr it dies down and resurfaces at 120 and after that its not comfortable at all. Got car checked by all who I thought could shed light. Suspension OK. From my hind set could it be tyres. ( I have had them balanced and problem just disappeared for about 3 weeks). Its got a set of Chinese brand Fullway!! Could this be the problem? Please assist

With tyres, you pay for what you get.... That's all I'm saying.
Anyway, cheaper tyres are probably 'out of round', hence the vibration....

Your radiator probably has a hairline crack where the expansion bottle connects, that's why you don't see any water leaking. You will probably need to get the radiator replaced. Take it to a Silverton's for a pressure test.

I had a similar problem on my E46, had a burst at the bottom of a pipe next to the expansion tank. The old pipes get brittle and crack.

Also the vibration I had that was like yours was from lower control arms and bushes. You say "suspension ok" but has this been checked?

Let them do a pressure test, and you can figure it out from there.
