Coolant Warning light E90 335i At Sport

Hi guys

I seem to be having a problem with my coolant light.
After a long drive or hard drive.The light seems to come on.
The tempreture of my car seems fine.
Any ideas?

Ps There is coolant.

Did you check the coolant level once the car had completely cooled down?

Also perhaps check if the coolant level indicator in the water tank is moving freely.

Water pump tend to just give up without any warning at all.

common problem on these cars is that the water bottle starts leaking.

Happened to me and had them replace the water bottle
