Hi Guys,
Car is a 2007 325i e92, just fitted a new water pump and thermostat after car was overheating, after the install the car still over heats, and the pump doesn't even come on. but can be turned on via diagnostic machine
so i unplugged my Coolant temperature the pump then comes on and the car doesn't overheat.
although now that the sensor is unplugged, as soon as i start the car the fan comes on full blast, but the car isn't over heating.
could it be that the Coolant temperature sensor could be damaged? or which other component could be that wouldn't be causing the pump to come on with the sensor plugged
