Hi there guys
Any suggestions on suitable non-OEM coolant? Just had the dreaded "coolant too low" warning light come on and it's not practical to get to a dealer immediately. Thanks guys

Thanks for the advice. Thing is that it said 'Coolant too low'. Wouldn't that mean that I need to add more than that?

Check your fluid level, to determine exactly how much you need. Then go and buy some coolant and distilled water. Mix it in a clean empty two liter bottle.
Fill it up, and keep the rest if you should top up in future.

You can buy from the dealers, but I'm sure a good quality coolant at your local spares should should be sufficient for the top up.

Not sure what car its is but with the e90's the warning comes on when the car is down on 1L of coolant/distilled water mix.

If you haven't filled in a long time the level will eventually drop.

But Donovan2412 does have a point, check for any visible leaks as well.
