Considering a 320D

Hi guys, need some help please, considering an E90 320d as a replacement for my MK6 GTI DSG.

Budgeting around 250k, would appreciate any advice on which models to lookout for and any problems? Would prefer an auto.

You sure there are E91 (Touring) or E92 (Coupé) 320d around in SA?

320D is a nice car, just not my cuppa. I love my petrol engines just too much.

One of the reasons for changing would be fuel consumption, have a pretty light foot, currently get around 600km on my GTI so i'm thinking with similar driving i could get quite a bit more out of a 320d?

Also thinking the torque of the diesel might help with the switch from a GTI so I won't feel it that bad

I have manual 6sp but i believe it should not be difference and sometimes even better.

I have an auto and with blended driving I get currently 6 - 7 l/100km. Most of my driving is through Sandton and Bryanston, so many MANY stop starts. The highest I've achieved was 9l/100km.

Mike, sorry for the ignorance to 140kw you talking about the pre-lci right? as the lci has 135kw already.

My LCI is on 8.2 for the 4Ways to Sandton drive
Needs a service soon so not sure if something is up with it
