Hey Hey.. what a nice day!! Had 4 runs! 13.7 13.6 13.7 13.7
I had my everyday street tyres on with pump fuel..

Still wanted to add some torqo and muti and have a few more runs but.. Me and Kobus325i and the women had an awesome brunch (bacon eggs wors etc).. Thanks Kobus!!
and as we were in a conversation of note the day just flew past!!!
Ill try 255's and some serious fuel mixtures next time! saving for some carbon body parts now!!

Almost there.. wheelworx ran a 13.1 with his in Capetown..
That is why i want to race @ komati which is at see level.. but first want to see how far i can push street tyres before i go for semi's!

I decided today im not going to turbo or charge my car!! i think next major mod is a straight cut gearbox..

Guys and Gals

I must say that Pedrie is going from strenght to strenght. That M of his is getting faster by the day. There were two Z4 M coupes that did 14's flat. It was a lekker day with some great racing, great conversation and friends. Hopefully we can get more of the members there. End of the month at ODI is 1 Km top end runs and 1/4 miles. I'm contemplating doing that as I would like to see what I do on a standing km.

Absolutely no doubt about that!! got a quote for R35k but i must supply the gearbox casing!
Then 1st, 2nd ,3rd and 4th is straight cut 5th is cross cut and 6th gear is cross cut and also overdrive!!
Then there is always the posibility to make it sequecial, but that is another arm and a leg..

And a box like that means shifting with out using clutch!!
I gained 0.9 of a second with a straight cut box on my golf!!!

traction for sure, and gearshifts, im still having trouble snap changing! will have to sort that slave cyl soon! the one i got from you is in perfect working order but still a bit to short!! im going to get my old one reconed and then im going to make a spacer.. coz my last 13.9 i ran accelerator to the floor and just snap it trough the gears!
sure ther is about another 0.1 of a second lying there!!

But traction traction traction... my 60ft was 2.1s every run!!

Also weight!! my car weighs 1455kg with 1/4 tank fuel and no spare wheel or loose carpets!!!

Awesome stuff streetracer. Its amazing how small things can help a person. Wit semi's and stiffer rear suspension. U will definitely run very low 13's. Congrats bru.
